He Smells So Nice

Yato sat next to Hiyori on a park bench. The two of them decided to make a detour on their way to Kofuku's. They had run out of things to talk about and so they sat in silence. The sun had started to set and the dusk was growing chilly. Hiyori shivered slightly and Yato took notice. Without a word, he shed his jacket and placed it gently on her shoulders. Hiyori turned and smiled at him and said "thanks." Yato smiled back at her and said, "you're welcome."

Once again, they fell silent. Yato stared off into space, but every few seconds he would sneak a peek at Hiyori. He loved to look at her, he was trying to etch every detail of her face onto his memory. He wanted to savor every moment with her. Hiyori curled into his jacket and wrapped it tighter around her, she caught a whiff of a wonderful scent, it was distinctly Yato. She held the jacket closer to her face and inhaled deeply. It was at that very moment Yato glanced over and saw what she was doing.

"Hiyori" he said and she jumped in surprise. "Are you smelling my jacket?"

Hiyori's face reddened and she averted her eyes from his. Yato laughed and she looked back at him in confusion. He pulled her closer and placed his chin atop her head and whispered, "I can't get enough of your scent either."

He placed a chaste kiss on her head before he stood up, he held out his hand to her. She grasped his hand and accepted his invitation to stand. She left her hand in his as they both made their way out of the park towards Kofuku's.
