A/N just a lil bit of fluff I thought of after I read Twilight. It's after Edward (hopefully) turns Bella into a vampire. So now they're playing baseball in the rain, after she controls her thirst for human blood. So enjoy! My first Twilight fic, be nice to it!
"Bella," Edward called from the outfield, "it's your turn."
"What?" I asked eyebrows disappearing behind my soaked hair. Edward knew how bad I was at sports, even with my awesome vampire strength. "I can't play, you know I can't play."
"I'll talk through it," he called back.
"Alright," I said nervously walking up to the plate, taking the bat Esme handed me. Emmett was pitching, Rosalie at second, Alice at first giving me an encouraging smile, and Carlisle at third.
I took the stance I was taught to take at gym, bat in the air, knees slightly bent. I looked past Emmett towards Edward asking, "Like this?"
"No," Edward said shaking his head as the thunder roared. "You got to put your butt into it."
"Like this?" I asked again, sticking my butt out just a fraction.
"No," he called back. I could see that Emmett was trying not to laugh, along with the rest of my new vampire family.
I stuck my butt out just a tiny bit more, just into you could see a tiny arch in my back.
"How about now?" I called again.
"No, Bella, you got to put your butt into it."
I hissed, showing my teeth in how frustrated I was, and stuck my ass out as far as I could without hurting myself in the process. Rolling my eyes I called, "If I get raped, it's all your fault."
Edward's laugh rang above the thunder as Emmett threw the ball. I raised my elbow and swung hoping I wouldn't make a fool of myself. I winced closing my eyes as I heard a crack.
"Go, Bella, run!" Alice called jumping up and down.
I opened an eye to see Edward run towards the forest, with his hand in the air. I quickly threw the bat on the ground and ran towards Alice. I could feel my muscles working overtime as I picked up speed. I could now see Alice, she had her hand up in the air ready for the ball. I pushed myself a little farther, just to see how fast I could go. I had never really tried to go any faster than a jog. I semi-gracefully slide into first as Alice caught the ball. As the dust cleared, Alice's foot was just a fraction off from the base. She looked down at her foot, and muttered a curse word, but their was a slight smile on her face and she winked at me. Then she stomped off towards Edward to tell him off for not getting the ball there fast enough.
I looked around, and then started doing my happy dance chanting, "I didn't get hurt! I made it to first base!!"
I skipped (yes skipped) over to where Alice was yelling at Ecward, and said to him, "OH! BURN! Who made it to first? I did! Who was too slow? E-D-W-A-R-D! What does that spell? EDWARD!"
Edward looked at me with a slight smile, raising an eyebrow. "Well, somebody's an Alice today."
"I resent that."
"Of course you do."
"I should," Alice said, walking away from us towards Jasper.
I pushed my wet hair out of my face, smiling at him. With a slight smile I said, "Have I told you that I love you today?"
"Yes, only about a thousand times which really isn't up to your standards," he said shaking his head at me in mock disappointment.
"Well, then we'll just have to fix that tonight," I answered smiling back at him.
"Your place or mine?"
"Well, mine we'll have Charlie breathing down our necks, and yours we'll get no privacey," I said weighing the options.
"Motel," we said, looking at each other.
A/n so it's not very canon considering if Bella was a vampire, they wouldn't be in Forks anymore. I just thought it was funny and worthy of Twilight fans. If there's anything I can improve on let me now via review! –Arya-
