MAN OVERBOARD

Dean leaned forward, flinched when the tiny boat rocked precariously, and dropped his fishing line into the water. He watched it sink into the green and gray mottled water. "Why're we here again?" he grumbled.
"The case, Dean, remember? Legend says that this monstrous fish—Brutus—pulls fishermen to their deaths. Three in the last month. I think it's more than a fish."
"So what do you think—ahh…" Dean's words ended on a yelp as he was abruptly pulled from the boat, entering the water with the precision of an Olympic diver.
"Dean!" Sam's dive was considerably less elegant.
