"AHHHH!" Andy woke up screaming. He threw Woody on the floor during his scream. Before Andy's mother could get in the room, Woody saw the closet door close. After Andy was back asleep, Woody got up and searched around the closet. He found a blue and purple bit of fur.
While Andy was at school the next day, Woody called an all toy meeting. "Okay, what is going on with Andy? For the past week, he has woken up screaming, and all I have to show for it is a small bit of blue and purple fur. Has anyone at least seen what is scaring him?"
Hamm spoke up. "I got a good view of the monster last night. He is huge, is blue with purple spots, and has horns on his head. He sneaks in through the closet, roars to scare Andy, then leaves."
Woody considered this new information. Everyone knew when he had a plan by the growing smile on his face. "Okay, this is what we are going to do."

As soon as Andy was asleep, Woody signaled to everyone to get into position. Everyone got up from where Andy had left them and sneaked into a semi-circle around the closet door. They waited. Finally, the door slowly opened. The monster looked around the room and saw the army of toys at his feet, including an actual green army. He tried to shake his head to prove to himself that he was seeing things, but the toys were still there.
Woody stood on the bucket that usually held the green army men. He gave a low whistle so he got the monster's attention without waking Andy. Once the monster saw him, he told the monster in a firm voice, "Don't you ever scare Andy again." The monster's eyes got wide. He nodded and backed into the closet, never to be seen in that room again.

"Hey, Sulley! What are you doing back so soon? Usually we have a full canister and the kid's still screaming. This time: nothing."
Sulley turned to his friend. "Go ahead and shred this one."
Mike looked confused. "What happened? Did he try and touch you or something?"
"Nope." Sulley shook his head. "He's got an army of tiny body guards."
