Ruth and Mike finally
Ruth had been walking around the apartment she and Jess shared, wondering why jess had gone back home with Rob.
"Ruth, she'll be fine, Jess is a big girl now," Mike said. Ruth looked at Mike who was lying on the couch. Ruth suddenly felt courage in her because she sat on Mike's legs.
"What you doing Ruth?" he asked, sitting up but keeping Ruth on his lap. He touched her hair and smiled.
"Why don't we just both admit we like each other?" she asked as she kissed his cheek. He grinned.
"Sure," he said, turning his head so he could kiss her lips.
