"Sara?"

She looked up suddenly at that, all but beaming as Neal entered her office. Her grin faltered slightly as she noticed the serious look on his features. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing's wrong. Stop worrying, would you, Repo? Always such a pessimist. You've been spending too much time with Moz these days." He grinned at her, and judging by the mischievous twinkle in his eyes, she knew he was up to something. "Do you think you can tear yourself away from whatever riveting case you're working on just for a few minutes? I've got a surprise for you."

"Neal, you know I hate surprises..."

"I know, but trust me. I know for a fact that you'll like this one." His grin was endearing as ever, and though she fought with herself to remain strong, she succumbed with a sigh.

"Five minutes, Caffrey," she teased lightly, rising from her desk and crossing over to where he stood. He offered her an arm, which she took with a warm smile, closing her eyes when he instructed her to do so as she allowed herself to be led out of the office.

"Okay, just a few more steps. We're almost there….You're good at this maneuvering around with your eyes closed thing, I'll have to keep that in mind for later." He winced as she elbowed him in the side, before chuckling shortly afterwards. "Okay, open."

She opened her eyes and they widened immediately at the sight that greeted her.

"Hey, sis."

"Oh my God," Sara breathed out, tears welling in her eyes. She rushed over to the other woman and latched onto her immediately, burying her face in the older brunette's shoulder. Amanda wrapped her arms around the younger girl tightly, holding her close as she looked over at Neal and mouthed Thank you.
