Awoken without Fright
From Dusk to Dawn
And night unto day.
You search amongst shadows
To find spirits lost in their way
You brave the cold and other weather
In darkness they reside,
Try to show them the light.
Chase them, but most only hide
With the sun ends the night.
Weary and dreary, go home.
But news awakens, blasting so loud
Open your eyes and what do you find?
A friend? Maybe once but no.
A darkness heap
Cloaked in black
Razor sharp claws
Enough energy for one last attack.
Though you don't fear and don't fear and don't fret,
For you've already won this bet,
Begone Evil Spirit! Foul Beast!
Vanished, gone away, to say the least.
