Okay readers don't expect anything more from this for about three months since I'll be focusing on annuals for the next three months but I'm posting this to let you all know that SSM year one has two chapters left but you all knew that. The first will come out before 2018 is over that said i decided since I'm like an actual year behind my timetable for SSM I'll be running both this story Supreme Spider-Man: Gotham Knights and Supreme Spider-Man: X-Men years concurrently. So yeah the planned schedule is one per month alternating which story i work. This excludes cliffhangers and such obviously. So here's the literal last chapter of this story and before anybody assumes no i did not get this from Titans. I had planned this out years ago but i was really surprised could when they told me that the show was going there so because of it i wanted you guys to see how I'd do it. That said please enjoy this stories teaser. I reiterate you won't get anymore until three months are up and even then. This teaser moment happens at the end of the story. Without further delay. Knight vs Knight.

It finally happened. The Batman finally snapped. Years of dealing with truly insane individuals may have finally pushed the legendary hero over the edge. Robin (Damian Wayne) Had come to the JL and specifically requested his Uncle Peter to a meeting where he explained what happened in the Joker's latest attempt to provoke Batman. The monster had rebroken Barbara Gordon's legs ,after Peter had healed them with some New God/Tamaranean tech, not only that but he did the same with Jason Todd. Dick Grayson was in a coma. And Damian himself had been in critical condition but still managed to make it to the Watchtower to explain things to the league. Even after all that Bruce still wasn't really broken. What did that was when the Joker did something that Damian refused to repeat. What the heroes did know was that it was done to a specific few people.

Jim Gordon, Vicki Vale, Selina Kyle, and worst of all Alfred.

Unlike the other heroes Peter had known Batman the longest. Peter knew if Bruce had gone off the rails he'd have been poetic about it. He'd have taken the Joker to one place. Here's bring him to where it all started for the both of them Ace Chemicals.

It was here that Peter found the two. Batman was tossing around the Joker like a ragdoll. Every second he was punching the madman in the face. The Joker was bloodied and bruised and Bruce showed no signs of slowing down. For his part the Joker was just laughing like a madman. Bruce ,well the Batman, was laughing right along with him.

Suddenly Bruce added a batarang to his hand intending a killing blow when Peter ,just as quickly, snagged his pulled back fist with a webline.

"Bruce listen to me you don't want to go down this road. You don't want to become a killer not like me. You still have time to turn back. But if you don't. I'll take you down myself."

With that Bruce put the Joker down. He knew he wasn't going anywhere. Not after the beating he had just given him.

"I'm just becoming the kind of hero this city deserves."

"But you've only ever been the hero it needed ,and you and I both know that Hero is not a killer. A hero like that would be no better than him. Please Bruce I'm begging you as your brother don't make me fight you."

"I've made up my mind Peter."

"So it's come to this."

"We both knew it could only ever end this way. Either you die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become a villain. We've both lived a long time."

"For what it's worth I'm sorry for what I'm about to do to you."

"Me too."

With that the two heroes stared off at each other.
