I blame Disney Channel for showing Wreck-It Ralph so many times. This is sooo not my fault. Those of you waiting for me to update everything else, I'm working on it.

Disclaimer: I do not own Wreck-It Ralph.

If you look at any screen long enough you're bound to notice the little things. The dust that gathers in the corners, appearing impossible to reach and if you try, it just gets stuck under the frame. One might notice the small specks of who-knows-what on the screen that simply can't be removed. You might see that one odd little pixel that is always the wrong color. There might even be a crack. Usually though, one of the first things you ever notice are scratches.

Perhaps the screen had been hit by an angry player at one point and the force applied caused the small scratch. Or perhaps years ago when the screen was unloaded from a transport it had gotten a scratch. A scratch could be small or large. They could even be so small you only see it by chance or with a magnifying glass.

The arcade cabinet of Fix-It Felix, Jr. at Litwac's Arcade had one such scratch. It was small, minuscule really and would normally go unnoticed. Noticing it would normally have been impossible. However for once it was noticed and once a scratch is noticed one always sees it.

You could try running a finger over it to see if it was a smudge but it would be a futile effort. If one ran a finger nail over it however, you wouldn't feel the slight catch as the nail caught it. This was because the particular scratch in question was on the other side of the screen, inflicted by the tiniest piece of gold with a tiny blue ribbon.

It was a medal, not just a medal though. That was a medal not even from Fix-It Felix, Jr. This particular medal came from one of the other games within the confines of Litwac's Arcade, Hero's Duty. In fact, the medal had quite a journey to get to this part of the arcade where it should never have been. This medal had been the catalyst of many events that had come to pass with the minuscule video game characters of several games.

That medal had created friendships, brought love between two characters that would normally never have met and even exposed a corrupt character thought to have been unplugged.

However, until the inevitable end of the beloved game came, that medal would forever be wedged into the screen having been thrown with such a tremendous force at one point.

Thus, if one ever wanted to know the whereabouts if the medal, they need only look at the screen with either a magnifying glass or a telescope depending on which side of the screen you were on.

Alright, finally got that out of my head. I wouldn't have been able to write anything else until I did.
