Begginings

Kara sat silently, missing the mysterious boy she met days before. She scolded herself for missing a boy. A boy. She was picking at herself. She wasn't supposed to miss boys. Especially one who she'd probably never see again.

Flashback...

She was standing by the window waiting for her mom to come in and tell her it started.

It was her 16th birthday party. She hated how her parents threw her dances for her birthdayThey always invited people she didn't know. Kara would rather be nextdoor at Wammy house helping Roger with the kids. She groaned and went downstairs. She shook her head and walked onto the balcony. Her black hair was flittering in the wind and her icy blue eyes were focused on the garden. She heard the door behind her open and then shut quickly.

She turned around to see a boy around her age. He had short black hair and dark eyes. He said hello to her and stood next to her. "You don't like parties", she said observing his actions. "My names Kara", she said holding out her hand. He looked puzzled. After a few seconds he grinned. "My name is Ryuzaki". She looked at him curiously. "Why are you here if you don't like parties?" He looked at her and shrugged. "My guardian was invited and dragged me here". She nodded and then looked around. Kara winced when she heard her mom call her. "Im in trouble now", she groaned as she reluctantly walked to the door. Ryuzaki followed her as she quickly scuttled towards her mom. Her mom motioned for her to step closer so she did."You should dance", her mom, Louisa said smiling. "D-d-dance", Kara stuttered," So you want me to break my neck?" She tensed at the thought. "Find someone and dance", her mom replied walking away. Kara looked around and then spotted Ryuzaki. "Hey will you dance with me", she asked quickly."Please", she added. "Theres nobody else my age". He reluctantly agreed.

Present...

She inhaled sharply as she remembered the look on his face, a mixture of confusion and terror. She remembered the could touch of his hand touching her arm. His dark eyes were haunting her. She yelped, trying to push the memories away. She neede to find out more about him. She would.
