Notes: It came to me one night, when I was bored and my muses were harping at me. It's shorter than anything I usually do, but it's still alright. And plus, I mean, really, if I were Peter, I would've stressed this point a lot farther than he did. REVIEW PLEASE!

"Why is the car not moving?" Claire asked with a growl, though she knew the answer.

"Because the traffic sucks, but if you want to get technical, it's because I do not have my foot on the gas pedal, and the car is not in drive." Peter retorted. Verbal banter was the only thing keeping them from screaming.

"Can I turn on the radio?" Claire asked, looking at her uncle with wide, begging eyes and the sad smile that always made him melt.

"Fine..." he groaned.

She selected a rock station, and leaned back into her seat. Music began to play from the speakers.

"...When I am commanding the strike,

You need to know,

That you're in for the fight of your life,

You will be shown,

How I've become...

INDESTRUCTIBLE!

Determination that is incorruptible,

From the other side,

A terror to behold,

Annihilation will be unavoidable,

Every broken enemy will know,

That their opponent had to be invincible,

Take a last look around while you're alive,

I'm an indestructible master of war!"

Claire turned the radio off. The irony did not escape her nor Peter, and both were biting their lips and trying to not to laugh.

"This is so frick'n stupid." Peter muttered after a moment of silence, banging his forehead against the wheel.

"We're saving our butts." Claire retorted, her voice up an octave as she tried not to laugh.

"WE CAN'T BE FUCKING KILLED!" Peter screamed, his frustration that no one grasped that fact finally snapping.

Claire stared at her uncle in silence for a moment, trying her hardest not to smile.

"No shit, Sherlock." she finally smirked.

He gaped at her, which only made her laugh. It took barely a minute till both Claire and Peter were laughing hysterically. They needed a release, and laughing certainly made them both feel better.

"This is so stupid!" Claire laughed, shaking her head.

"But it's so funny!" Peter cracked up again, sending them both into hysterics all over again.

They continued to laugh for at least ten minutes, and it didn't matter, because traffic still hadn't moved by the time they had calmed down.

"What just happened?" Claire asked, still laughing a little, as she wiped tears away from her eyes.

"I think we had either momentary breakdowns or fits of temporary insanity." Peter replied, brushing his dark hair out of his eyes as he looked on down the traffic jam.

"Aren't they the same thing?" his niece wondered, trying her best not to fall into hysterics again.

"Basically. You lose reality either way."

And they both agreed, insanity was much better than reality.
