As they wandered through the empty halls of Crossroads Junior High, Ami, Rei, Lita, Mina, Serena, and Darien thought about what happened in the past years.
"I can't believe we're in high school already" Serena said with a sigh.
"It seems like just yesterday we walked through these doors and saw all of our classmates' faces running around, trying to get to class" Mina said quietly.
"Ami, doing nothing but studying" Rei said smiling.
"And Lita, threatening to kick Melvin's butt" Serena added, giggling. Lita blushed.
"And Mrs. H giving Serena detention every day!" Lita said, patting Serena on the back.
"Hmph!" Serena ran to Darien who embraced her tightly and smiled. "Serena... princess..." Serena smiled thinking he was going to say something comforting. "Are you still constantly late to school?" Darien asked, breaking the girls' semi-solemn mood. Serena crossed her arms and hung her head, pouting. "Sere... I didn't mean it-" Serena looked up at him and smiled. "Gotcha!" She laughed and hugged her cute, loving boyfriend.
They continued walking, stopping here and there to tell of a memory. "Here's where we first met Lita" "Remember when Melvin asked Molly out?" "This is where we fought that Nega Sleeze!" "Do you remember-" " Look at this!" "Oh my God!"
This continued for a while until they heard footsteps. They knew some of the teachers were there, so they followed the sound to see if it was someone they knew.
They searched up and down the halls, in the bathroom, and in the lounge; They didn't find anyone. They were searching the last wing of they school when they all stopped simultaneously. They stared at the sight in front of them. ' Oh my...' Ami cried. It was their old classroom; Mrs. H's. They walked slowly in the door and took in what they saw. The desks were set up the same as when they left. 'My desk!' Serena cried as she ran to it and sat in it. The others did the same, as Darien and Rei stood there, watching their friends. "I never knew I'd miss this school so much" Lita sighed, putting her head down on the wooden desk. "We did spend a portion of our lives here" Ami said. "An important portion too" Mina added.
They all put their heads on their desks for a minute or so, very solemnly...
Until Rei looked up alarmingly. "Guys... either we get out of here or be prepared to fight... something's not right around here."
