Fossil Fighters: Austin's Story
Hi guys. This is my first fan fiction. It's about a boy named Austin and his adventures around the Caliosteo Islands. He enters the Caliosteo Cup, along with his new friend Dina, and they battle their way to the top.
All right here we go
Chapter 1: Spino
My name is Austin. I live in a small village called Woodbury. No one really likes me all that much because I am such a Fossil Fighting nerd. The kids in the neighborhood would always beat me up; make fun of me and other things. So, I just spend most of my life-watching fossil fighting on TV and reading any books I can get my hands on.
School just got out yesterday, and I'm guessing this summer will be the same- me staying in my room and occasionally coming out for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Maybe I'll go out for a cookie once in a while, and possibly do some exercise once in a while.
I heard a knock on my door. When I finally dragged myself out of bed, I opened the door. My mom was standing there, with a plate of pancakes and hash browns.
" Here you go Austin" she said and handed me the plate.
" Thanks mom. I'm going to go eat by the river." I say and walked out the door.
After walking for a few minutes, I got to the river and sat on a stump. The sunrise was one thing I looked forward to every morning. With all the yellows and oranges, it's just beautiful. But then I see birds, probably magpies, taking off. Not just a few, but many. I hear stomping sounds in the woods, and I stand up. A long jaw came out of the woods, and then the body. A Spinosaurus! It spots me, but doesn't seem like it would attack. After looking up, the Spinosaurus growled and I turned around. A Pteranodon was flying right for me. The Spinosaurus ran into the river, and over near me. Scooping me up in it's mouth, it wacked the Pteranodon in the head and ran off with me still in It's mouth.
We were approaching my house when the Spinosaurus put me down and transformed into a Dino Medal. The medal fell down and I caught it in my hands. Smiling, I put it in my pocket and ran inside.
My mom was standing by the counter.
" Austin I have a surprise for you" She says.
" What?"
" I've thought about it, and I think you'll be happy with this" She paused for a second and said, " I'm sending you to Caliosteo Isles, so you can compete in the cup!"
