Erens P.O.V
Every morning, I see corporal Levi outside digging with a pained expression, but I haven't asked him what he's digging for. I kinda just guessed he lost something at first but it has been going on for a while now, ever since the mission with the female titan when most of his squad with the people closest to him we're killed. I'm guessing that's the reason why.
This time I will ask him what's going on, to see if he's ok. I silently walk up to him and when I got close enough to him I finally asked.
"Umm... Corporal..
Why are you digging" I finally get out looking down to him sympathetically.
He looks up to me with tears streaming from his eyes and he drops to the ground.
I quickly ran over to him
"Corporal!? What's wrong?"
I said to him and try to lift him up off the ground so he's standing.
"I-I want...I want to go back home"
He says then throws himself up to me with a tightened grip around my waist as he sobs louder.
'Home?' I think to myself 'what would digging have to do with going home?'
"Levi..., it's okay... I'm here for you" I wrap my arms back around corporal and hold him close to me as if he was my own.
He must be in so much pain, loosing all the people close to him from the last mission. So I will just have to care for him as much as they did together, by myself.
He looks up to me with tears falling from his eyes.
"T-thank you...Eren" he says and let's his grip loosen.
"Just please, promise me...you won't ever leave me"
My eyes widen surprised and he sits down in the hole of dirt with a hand to his forehead.
I sit down next to him and loosely wrap my arms around him.
"I promise... I will never leave you...ever" I tighten my grip.
We stay in the hole together for awhile then I hear his breaths.
'He's sleeping' I say to myself and rest my head onto his shoulder until I fall asleep with him.
"I...will never let you go..levi"

Writers notes: incase you didnt catch it, when levi said he wants to go home whilst he was digging it was meant as he wanted to go back underground where he used to live with Farlarn and Isabel. (Ova- no regrets/ manga - not regrets)
