The blonde's hands flailed around in the air as he described something to the pink haired girl who, for once, watched him with something other than annoyance and disgust. Her green eyes held excitement and curiosity, and Sasuke could only chuckle softly to himself.
He didn't mind it.
In fact, he was happy for the boy who was no longer as shunned by the people around him. And it didn't bother him that he trained with others, or went to eat with somebody else.
"Sasuke? Teme what are you doing come on!" the overly loud voice of Naruto brought him out of his thoughts, and he realized that Sakura had left. A tan hand was thrust in front of him that he looked at carefully before glancing up in to the owner's eyes. Those bright eyes that sparkled with an innocent happiness when ever he looked at them.
"Hn. Dobe."
He took the offered hand, pulling himself up. The warmth leaving his palm tingling even after the other had taken off like a puppy, stopping a few feet away to look back at him.
It was ok like this. As long as those blue blue eyes sparkled, and that ice melting smile was on his face, it was ok.
He didn't mind it.
As long as it was like this.
