1. Book

Daisya stared, Lavi kept on reading, and Kanda was eating his soba. The Turk stared, and stared some more, eliciting an aggravated sigh from the person beside him. That made the redhead look up, but not the Turk.

Amused green eyes met blue glaring ones.

A grin appeared on Lavi's face. "Never seen a redhead before?"

The question was directed to Daisya, who replied, "No. And you're pretty conceited to think that I'm staring at you. I'm staring at your book."

Lavi continued grinning, for the intensity of Kanda's glare doubled as he now directed it to the book.

2. Letter

The Charity Bell jingled as its owner shook his head furiously. He ripped the paper he was writing on, which ended up in a growing pile of crumpled papers at the foot of his bed.

It's Kanda's birthday, and he, Daisya, forgot it. The Turk asked Lenalee what he could give to the Japanese, preferably something that did not involve going out or money.

"Maybe a letter would do." she replied.

Thus, here he is, scribbling like his very life depended on it. Though he is now positive that the pen or paper may have been cursed, for he again ripped the paper and sighed. He stood up, stretched, glanced at the pile of crumpled paper before running out. At his rush to go outside, he forgot to lock the door nor notice a piece of paper get whisked towards the door by the air from the open window.

A certain Chinese girl passed by and noticed the paper beneath the Turk's door. Picking it up, a smile appeared on her face.

'It's too early for Valentine's, Daisya-kun.'

3. Marie

They've been together since their training days, so it's no wonder that they know each other the most. Especially with Marie, since his enhanced hearing enables him to recognize his teammates & whatever they're feeling based on the sound they produce.

"Daisya..." a growl.

"Kanda, it's just mud! Mud I say! We can wash it off!" replied Daisya, his tone not remorseful at all.

Marie shook his head and sighed. His teammates now have a tone they only use between themselves. When that happened, he will always fathom.

4. Beach

"It's the sea!!!"

Kanda and Marie stopped short. Daisya is now running towards the sea, removing his boots along the way and throwing those everywhere. Marie sighed then smiled, walking towards the prankster's boots and picking those up. A pissed Kanda passed by him, intent on giving the Turk a beating for stalling them from their mission.

Then he saw black.

Grunting, the Japanese pulled the thing obscuring his vision, death glare in place. Only to realize that it is Daisya's beloved cloak.

A figure emerged from the water, a few good feet away from the shore. A wet, grinning Daisya splashed around.

"C'mon guys! The water's cool!"

Kanda glared and stalked off, though he decided to take Daisya to the beach again in the future.

5. Death

He was talking to someone. Kanda knows this, though his mind couldn't follow what his body is doing.

Daisya Barry is dead. Dead, meaning he's now just a cold, unfeeling body lying there.

No more pranks and jokes. No Charity Bell breaking Gen. Tiedoll's glasses. And no more of that annoying "jan" at the end of sentences.

Marie seemed to hear the tense beat his heart emits and the tone he's trying to block out, for the Austrian put a hand on his shoulder and gently squeezed it, offering some comfort. Kanda nodded in gratitude, though both knew that he was far from being comforted.

Not when Lenalee had him read that letter.

hurr Guess that's it. ^_^

I so fail at drabbles...
