"Did the ending of 1984 bother you in any way?" Minnie asked the question while holding the book in question in one of her red gloved hands. Gummy pondered the question and opened her own book to the page before the acknowledgments.

"Well, Winston was tortured into loving Big Brother. So it doesn't bother me that much."

Minnie's mouth was agape in absolute astonishment. "How could it not bother you?!"

"Because he was practically forced to love Big Brother in the end." Gummy tried to make sense of her decision even during the early hours of the morning. Mike watched with enjoyment from across the table as the two teens argued.

"But he could have fought back." Minnie looked at Gummy with tired eyes, yet determination buzzed like bees all around them.

"He was being beaten."

"Winston could have fought back mentally."

"Minnie, Winston was already weak mentally. All O'Brien had to do was ground him down to nothing but a little speck under the eyes of Big Brother." Mike chimed into the argument with a smile. Minnie looked at him with a sweet smile of her own.

"We shall continue this later…when I don't feel like I'm going to fall asleep while eating Fruit Loops."

Mike chuckled and looked down at his own bowl of cereal with a bit of distaste. Minnie and Gummy were nice enough to make his breakfast when he got home from his long night shift at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. He rubbed his temple as he thought about the faces of the animatronics as he left intact once his shift ended. Chica had followed him all the way to the exit like a tiger following its prey. And all the while, Freddy laughed in the darkness. Mike shivered and rubbed his eyes. Minnie looked at him worriedly, Gummy sharing the same look of concern. They both exchanged glances, both of them more worried for their guardian than for what was to become of them when they left for Area 11 in a few short minutes. Gummy sighed and stood with her bowl of cereal in hand. Minnie followed, her eyes a vast field of nothing but bright light.

"We'll see you later, Mike." Gummy recited the same line she always said before they left for Hell on earth. Mike swallowed back a scream of anger and gave a forced smile. Minnie waved a farewell and followed Gummy to the kitchen.

Mike sat alone in the dining room alone until he heard the front door of their apartment open and close. He looked down at the table, completely helpless and pathetic in his own mind. If he truly cared for Minnie and Gummy, wouldn't he give Allene a good beating? Of course he loved them. Minnie most of all. Her sweet smile, her innocence, and her laughter haunted him every time they left to go to that awful place. Area 11 was nothing but an abandoned trailer park in the eyes of the ignorant people that passed it. On the inside it was a nightmare come true. The day Mike applied for his job as night watchmen at the pizzeria, he overheard a young man and woman talking about what they've seen at Area 11. What they said was not pleasant….

"I'm so stupid."

This is an idea I have for a possible series, but I need insight before I can actually write it. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK!
