"We have it all! We can do anything brothers, that's something to be happy about!" Rebekah told her brothers.
They looked up at her in surprise. "We could live out those dreams we always had. Remember?" she asked lowly, feeling a lump build in her throat.
It had gotten horrid. All the friends they used to have, now feared them. She was isolated to solitude, and everyone was gloomy. No excitement or happiness around. Mostly thanks to their father.
But Rebekah swore she wouldn't let that bring her down. "She's right Elijah," Nikolaus turned to his brother, he finally saw the light and understood what his sister was trying to say.
All they had was eachother, and they had to stick together. Elijah looked cautiously in between his two siblings. He couldn't help but agree.
"Ok," he said begrudgingly. "Good! We can do everything! We need to stick together," Rebekah said looking between the two. They shook their heads in agreement.
Days later their mother had died, and Nikolaus had watched.
Rebekah came to him as he sat there in shock and agony. "I'm sorry she turned her back on you. I never will," Rebekah said promisingly. "Neither will I," Elijah came up to the two of them.
"We always stay together and stick together as one. Always and forever," Rebekah said once again. Their hands came together as they stood in a circle together.
Rebekah knew they would stay together, she would always protect her brothers no matter what.
