The two brothers were looking through Shao Tucker's library one afternoon when Ed found a transmutation that could restore a person's body at the expense of another. He fell to the floor with a thud; Al quickly glanced at his brother, sitting there ignoring all physical senses, concerned.
"Brother, are you alright?" There was no immediate response, but when it did come, it seemed drained of all energy and life.
"I may have found something."
"What?!" Al was astounded and excited beyond belief, and wondered how his brother could maintain his composure as if it were nothing. "That's great!"
"Al," Edward finally said, not looking up from the book, "do you trust me?"
