James came walked limply into transfiguration class with a half-asleep smiled plastered across his face, unaware he was humming the theme tune of beauty and the beast. He walked over to Sirius and clumsily plonked himself down at the desk.

"And what time do you call this ?" screeched Mcgonagall from the other end of the classroom with a certain look about her that told James she was not in the mood for him to charm his way out of this one.

"Sorry Professor… I was a little bit pre-occupied last night." mumbled James whilst trying to keep his eyes open.

"Oi oi." shouted Sirius playfully across the room.

The whole class burst into laughter – including Mcgonagall who tried to keep a smile hidden away from view but ended up laughing along with everyone else. James gave Sirius a grave look and playfully swatted him over the head with an 'Intermediate Transfiguration' textbook.

"Now everybody, settle down! Today we will be learning how to transform these snails into teapots, so open your textbooks to pages 125 and 126. Let's begin!" exclaimed Professor Mcgonagall excitedly whilst clapping her hands in delight. The students really enjoyed having her as their teacher - she brought a certain feeling of security and happiness into the classroom.

As Professor Mcgonagall was instructing the class Sirius turned to James with a mischievous grin.

"So… Prongs… about last night; care to inform you good old pal what you and Evans were up to eh?"

"Sorry to disappoint you Padfoot but nothing that exciting happen I'm afraid. We just stayed up all night watching muggle films. What was it called?" After a brief pause James suddenly remembered the name of the film and was pretty impressed with himself that he had actually managed to do so.

"Beauty and the Beast." exclaimed James proudly.

"What? I switched off after 'sorry to disappoint.'" said Sirius.

"Really Sirius? (James only used his real name when he was slightly annoyed at him) I was just telling you that Lily made me watch a muggle film last night called Beauty and the Beast. It was pretty good actually with the singing and dancing, although don't tell her I said it. We made a bet for two sickles after I told her I'd hate it and she told me I'd love it."

Sirius sat their laughing in his chair listening in disbelief about what his best friend has just told him. James Potter likes musicals. Who would've thought it?

"Haha I wondered what you've been humming all lesson." said Sirius gleefully.

"Humming? Humming what?" said James blissfully unaware that he had been humming (quite loudly might I add) to the tune of beauty and the beast. It seems the whole class heard.

When Transfiguration class ended James walked out into the corridor to find Sirius giving Lily two sickles.

"Oh no." whispered James to himself. He walked over to them both and looked at them with a certain uneasy look on his face.

"Hey James, Sirius just told me about the film. I knew you'd love it!" exclaimed Lily excitedly.

"Haha I think Prongs has gone soft on us, eh Evans?" joked Sirius elbowing Ja(A/mes in the rib.

"Oh don't think you're getting away with it either Black! Oh no I've got just the film for you!" with that Lily grabbed James and Sirius robes and hauled them off to the Gryffindor common room.

The next day Sirius walked into class humming the tune of Aladdin. He turns round looks at Lily and gives her a cheeky thumbs up. He sits himself down next to James and whispers three words into his ear.

"Best. Film. Ever."

(A/N - This is a short humorous piece on how I imagined James and Sirius would have been introduced to Disney. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it and I would be so grateful if you could review!)
