Blaine was shocked. He felt like someone had just slapped him across the face. He could tell that his eyes were wide and his triangular eyebrows were raised as far as they could go.
Who knew a song sung about a dead bird could make him feel like this? The realization that he loved Kurt hit him like a ton of bricks. Blaine slowly but surely noticed that the rest of the Warblers were packing and getting ready to leave. Blaine knew that he needed to talk to Kurt, but he certainly wasn't up for it now. He just walked quickly out the door, avoiding Kurt's eyes. Funny enough, Kurt seemed to be avoiding Blaine's, too.
When Evan and Ethan noticed that Blaine hadn't been participating in their Nerf Gun fights for a couple of days, they started to get worried. They found him lying face down on his bed, only dressed in sweatpants, and his room was far from its usually very organized state.
"Dude. What's going on? You haven't left this room for days." Evan stated bluntly.
Blaine just mumbled indistinctly into his pillow.
"Are you sick? Maybe you're sick of all the solos you get. Kurt clearly is." Ethan said with a smirk.
At this, Blaine somehow bent his arm back to hit Ethan in the face with a pillow.
"This is clearly about Kurt. What happened? Are you fighting with your boyfriend?" Evan's voice positively dripping with fake concern.
"He is not my boyfriend." Blaine finally spoke.
"But you want him to be." Blaine just mumbled some more.
