Ok, I was majorly surprised at how many people actually reviewed/favorited A Simple Conversation. I hadn't even really meant to write it, much less post it, but once it was on my screen I just kinda went, "Oh, what the heck, why not?" and did. Imagine my surprise!
Just when I was starting to feel bad that I didn't know anything for a sequel, the wonderful ThexVeryxDefinitionxOfxADHD reviewed with this general idea for me. Again, ultimate happiness. So, of course, this story is absolutely dedicated to her, with a shout-out as well to everyone else who reviewed. You turned a random musing into my favorite fanfiction I've ever written!
Ok, I'd better actually move on to the story now… XD
Disclaimer: I don't own Fablehaven… =( Love it, but don't own it… or the one line that I more or less took from the second book. It just seemed to fit.

"What?" Kendra asked Warren, and he ducked his head. She had caught him staring at her when he didn't think she was looking. Warren shook his head.
"Nothing."
"Seriously, Warren." A slight annoyance joined the curiosity in her voice. "This has been going on for three days now. What about me has suddenly become so fascinating?"
"Nothing," he said, awkwardly trying to brush off the question. Kendra glared. "Fine," he sighed. "It's just that… I can't believe they made you kiss me."
For a moment, Kendra was shocked out of reacting. What had Warren said before? Telling Dale a secret was like writing it in the sky. Kendra supposed, now, that it really was true.
After a moment, she shrugged. "Yeah, they did, I guess. At the time it didn't really seem to matter much." That might not have been entirely true, but it was close enough. She had quickly gotten over her crush on Warren; cuteness aside, he was too much like an older brother.
"But we're related."
Kendra shrugged. "Yeah, but Warren, you were catatonic. If it had woken you up when nothing else could, when no one else knew what to do, would it have really been a bad thing? If the artifact hadn't been compromised, you would have spent the rest of your life in a daze. Can you blame them?"
Warren shrugged. "No." He flashed a quick grin. "But it's still gross, and you're all still crazy." With that he turned and walked away, leaving Kendra staring after him, a small and amused smile on her face. Yep, just like her brother.
Ew. She'd actually kissed him. When she thought about it now, it was just…
Gross.

Please, Review if you will! Hope it lived up to expectations.
