Finding and capturing the bad guy? Best thing ever. Your team finding out about your history? Not so much. They were understandable angry. It hurt yes, but I know they were just upset that they didn't know. Except Kaldur. He was calm and his face impassive. I knew he'd feel the most betrayed, we were close and I'd never told him. My door opened and I waited for the spiteful words…nothing. I looked up to see Kal, his face still impassive but his eyes held a raging storm inside. I quickly looked down, I couldn't stand to see that look in his beautiful eyes. The bed sunk next to me, causing me to slide into something warm. I looked up as I felt equally warm arms embrace me. He leaned in, stopping just before our lips touched. I realized he was giving me the option of backing away, I leaned up and kissed him with no hesitation. God! I think I melted. His lips were warm and soft yet cool and tasted like the sea. I groaned as he deepened the kiss. Our tongues battled playfully, exploring each other with enthusiasm. We finally parted, panting. He gave me what had to be the sweetest smile ever and I couldn't help but smile back. He pulled me back with him, landing with a small thud on my stiff bed.

"Artemis."

"Yes?"

"I believe this makes you my girlfriend, does it not?"

"Yes, yes it does make me your girlfriend."

Maybe the team finding out wasn't so bad after all.
