A/N: This is just a cute little one-shot I wrote for today. I hope you all enjoy it :)

Lucy walked along the empty road she was on, shivering against the cold. She had been at the guild, but even that got annoying after so long. Everyone was with someone that, no one having time for her. Who as she kidding, though. Valentine's Day was for couples, not friends. Everyone seemed to hook-up with someone else. Natsu and Lisanna were all lovey-dovey in the corner, Evergreen and Elfman were looking away from each other with blushes on their cheeks, holding hands. Laxus and Mira were giggling at each other from different sides of the bar, occasionally kissing. Hell, Loke and Aries even went on a date in the "human world" to celebrate.

She stopped walking when she came in front of a bar. She could see through the window that there were a few guys drinking together at a table, but even they had a small crowd of girls oggling them. The actual bar was completely empty except for one. Seeing who that was, she opened the door and sat beside him. "Can I have a beer?" she asked the tender. He slid one to her. She looked to the person beside her. "Do you mind?" She tipped her bottle towards him.

Gray looked up in surprise to see Lucy. "Sure," he said. With a flick of a finger, he froze the cap and popped it off. He watched her take a long sip, a small drop sliding down to her chin and dripping into her cleavage. He forced himself to look back up to her face. "What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be out with your boyfriend?" He didn't even know if she had one.

"Seeing as I don't have one, I guess not," she laughed. "I would ask why you aren't with Juvia, but I guess she's out with Lyon, huh?" She wiped the condensation off her bottle with her sleeve.

Gray snorted. "Yeah, all that stalking and we last maybe a month. If I would have known giving he the benefit-of-the-doubt and trying to date her she would have moved on long ago." He drank the shot in front of him and tapped the counter, getting the tender's attention. "Can I get two more over here?"

"I guess we're the only ones alone tonight. Makarov even said Porlyusica agreed to go out to dinner." She picked up the shot placed in front of her. She spun in her chair to face Gray. "To us?" They twisted their arms together and drank from each other's glasses, both laughing afterwards.

"The world is cruel, huh?" Gray asked. "The only girl that seems interested in me gets bored after a month and the most gorgeous girl in the world has to spend tonight alone." He graciously accepted the beer that was given to him by the tender. He obviously knew what to do with sad souls on this day.

Lucy about chocked on her drink. "You think I'm gorgous?" she asked, honestly surprised.

He shrugged. "Who wouldn't? Come on, Lucy, you should give yourself more credit than that."

A shiver went down her spine when he said her name. "You know what?" She put her hand over his before he could grab his bottle. "There just may have been a reason we were both left alone tonight." She tilted her chin up towards him.

Gray took the hint and leaned down to kiss her. It was a short, sweet kiss, but it held a thousand emotions. They both looked at each other, lazy smiles reaching their faces. He set twenty dollars on the table and stood up to leave. Lucy was a step behind. "Do you think anything is still open?" he asked, putting his arm around her.

"Your apartment," she said smoothly, leaning into him.

He kissed her head and smirked. "I'm way ahead of you."

"Gray, I've always loved you," she admitted.

He was surprised to here that. "Yeah, me too."
