In honor of the epic Shark Week and my anime crush, Lavi, here is an awesome story. And yes, I am working on YYK. I just feel bad I didn't get a fic ready for the rabbit's birthday. After this is up, to YYK I go since the only two votes are on that fic.

Prologue

*3rd POV*

Allen and Lavi sat on the couch of their apartment, counting down to Shark Week, the best week of summer and it started on Lavi's birthday. Even though there was a half an hour, they both watched the timer intently. This was going to be the best Shark Week ever. Apparently there are going to be new sharks, like this Colossus that is 25 feet long!

"I wish they hurry up," Lavi exclaimed. "They're going to miss it."

"Lavi, they tried asking for your birthday off, but you know how it is. Can't get everything. Some people actually have lives," Allen replied in an annoyed tone. This is the fifth time in twenty minutes that Lavi has complained that their friends had to work this day. His birthday and the first day of Shark Week.

With a hurt expression and a hand over his heart, he gasped. "Are you saying I have no life!?"

"No, I'm saying some people don't slack off, like you, and have to work more like on Sundays, unlike me."

"Allen, speak straight, you sound like Yoda."

Allen punched Lavi in the arm. "I do not speak backwards. I'm saying some people have to work more because their bosses expect them to, and some people have to work Sundays, unlike me because that's my day off. Idiot."

"Hey don't be mean to the birthday boy!"

"Then the birthday boy should shut up and stop complaining."

The two tun back to the TV, and see the biggest mechanical shark they have ever laid eyes on. The host in a shark costume introduces it, Sharkzilla. Two men carry a long orange kayak and place it into the jaws of the monster. The host and crowd at Fin Fest count down to the shark's bitedown.

Sharkzilla bites down on the kayak, splintering it and splitting it longways in half. When it releases the kayak, it looked undamaged, even though it was crushed beyond repair. Don't see that every summer.

"Man, they're missing this."
