I'm back with a new story for you, this one centering around everyone's favourite stalker:...Irving! I had actually had this idea floating around in my head for a while, it just took a bit of time before I got around to writing it. Anyway, enjoy.
Hello and welcome to Irving's Super Spectacular Guide to FanFiction. I'm Irving Du-Bois, aka ThePhineasStalker, and I am going to be giving you tips on how to write the perfect story, as well as reviewing tips, shipping and others. Lets get started
Plot
Coming up with a plot is one of the hardest things you'll ever have to do in writing, but with my simple steps, coming up with a plot can be as easy as eating pie.
1. Use a word generator
This works best with one-shots, since each chapter is a different mini-story. All you need to do, is figure out a sentence that incorporates your word, and the rest practically writes itself.
2. Use your wildest fantasy!
For me, a good plot would be the evil Isabella has captured Phineas, and is forcing him to marry her. And only the brave yet humble Sir Irving can stop her, and save Phineas. Of course that doesn't work for everyone, so maybe just use what happened in the crazy dream you had last night.
3. "Borrow" someone else's idea
There's no law saying you can't take inspiration from someone else, and unless you're using their idea exactly, or just plagiarising their work,(and trust, me, you do not want to get caught plagiarising) then its fair game.
4. Mix up the pairings.
Its seems Phinabella, Ferbella, Balinger are very popular on this site. Change it up, with parings like Phirving (Phineas/Irving) Hollerb (Holly and Ferb) or Isahell (Isabella burning in hell). Their are many opportunities for some weird yet wonderful pairings out there. You just have to look.
5. Write an M-Rated story
Warning: This option is not for everyone, and is not advised for younger readers. Maybe its because we live in a crazy world, but there are people who read FanFiction solely for the dirty stuff. And apparently as long as it has said dirty stuff, no plot is needed (I highly disagree). Regardless, its up to you what you want to write about.
There's five different strategies for you to choose from. If there's more ideas you have, please don't hesitate to tell me. Tune in next time as I talk about character and character development.
Please tell me what you guys think about this, as we authors love reviews.
