Hey, another songfic drabble series, odie centric this time, running parallel to "Life and loves of Odie"
Disclaimer: I don't own anything, but certainly not Odie, COTT, or Losing Grip by Avril Lavigne.
Odie wasn't sure what to think as he watched Valerie walk away from him, leaving the restaurant.
"You used to love me, but that wasn't the case."
After everything she had said, Odie felt like his centre had been ripped away from him. It was as if everything he had based his life on in the past few years was a lie, just a faulty assumption.
"Why should I care? If you don't care, then I don't care."
Unfortunately, Odie had always been brutally honest with one person: Himself. He did care, and that was why it hurt so much.
Ooh, it's been too long. Free Odie hugs to all reviewers.
