Hold me
Sharpay's POV
It all started the last day of Junior Year. Gabriella, Troy, and I were now friends. I was slowly becoming friends with Taylor, but that Chad Danforth there is no way in seven HECKS we would ever be friends. I was at my locker sulking at something I over heard Chad say "There is no one on earth who will ever love that ' Ice Princess '"
I knew he was right I was an Ice Princess. Suddenly the need to cry washed over me, and a lone tear escaped my left eye
My twin brother Ryan suddenly materialized behind me. "Cheer up Shar" he said " it's Summer everything changes" I couldn't hold it in anymore I started to sob softly "oh..Ry!!" I wailed as I spun to face him and hugged him fiercely. He didn't move, he was shocked. "Hold Me." I whispered . His warm arms immediately caged me in a protective embrace " I will.....forever" he promised in a soft voice stroking my back. Not caring I was ruining his shirt.
"Oh the Ice Princess is showing emotion" Chad sneered "Chad!!!!!!" Troy,Gabriella,and Taylor scolded as I began to cry harder. " Now look what you've done!?!" Ryan said in a harsh raised voice " Troy could you take him away so he won't hurt my Fabulous Angel again" he asked voice still raised "Sure thing Ry," Troy said " come on Man!"He grabbed Chad's arm and lead him away.
Ryan held me tighter, soothingly rocked us, and hummed the lullaby he made up when we were six and I would come into his room after a nightmare, I would always wake up with my head on his chest, the way I fell asleep. How I missed those nights!
"Thanks Ry!" I said when I finally calmed. "Your welcome Shar!" he whispered before kissing the corner of my mouth,and we both gasped. Ryan grasped my hair and neck kissing me on the mouth. My lips felt as if they would burn, I kissed him back as if my life depended on it.
We broke apart as the final bell rang. "Nothing will be the same between us" Ryan warned. I chuckled "but it's Summer Ry" I argued "everything changes!" I quoted him flashing his favorite smile,and slipping on my brown sunglasses. I slammed my pink locker shut and strode away. "Hey Sharpay Ellanor Evans! SLOW DOWN!" Ryan called running to catch up
Outside I was way too tired to drive. "Ry you drive." I said fighting a yawn. "Really!?" he questioned "yes!" I sat in the passenger seat and fell asleep
"Wake up Sleeping Beauty we're home" Ryan said before kissing me. We went in the house and into the kitchen where a note laid on the fridge. It read:
" Dear Duckie and Kitten,
we will not be home until late.
There is leftover pasta in the fridge.
Have a wonderful evening,we will not see you in the morning
until you arrive at Lava Springs
see you soon. Toodles

Daddy and Mother"
Ryan and I ate dinner early,packed for Lava Springs,Got ready for bed, and then we watched our favorite Sci-Fi movie "Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Syth"
After the movie ended Ryan picked me up and carried me too my room.
"Ry No!!" the police were taking him away from me. Daddy was holding me still as I struggled to get to Ryan and kick some police butt! "Don't take him! Please?!" I begged desperately. But the police ignored me. "Ryan!!!!" I screamed as I sobbed
I woke panting,and in a cold sweat. Warm arms gently incased me. "Shar..You okay?" Ryan asked in a worried tone "I heard you screaming my name. Did you have a nightmare?" I nodded "It wasn't real.. tell me about it!" "W..well, you were taken away from me!" "Shar I'm not going anywhere!! I'll even stay here until morning to prove it!" He got under my covers and laid me on top of him. He kissed me gently. "Now go to sleep." Ryan hummed my lullaby and my eyelids drooped.
