A Moment With You

He is honestly surprise when his pregnant wife asks to see him.
He doesn't waste a minute before he rushes to his wife side. Fearing that there was something wrong with her or the unborn child, but the moment, but immediately that fear is wash away when he sees his wife lying on the large king size bed.
Her back prop up against several pillows. He can see a soft pleasant smile glowing on her beautiful face. Violet blue eyes sparkling with happiness and something close to awe.
"Did something happen?" he questions. She nods and if possible her smile grows even wider.
"Come and feel," she requests softly. Grabbing his hand lightly when he approach her and place it gently placing it on her stomach.
After a moment he thought that he felt something. A kick? Did their child just kick?
"Did you feel that?" she questions. He nods smiling softly before replacing his hand with his head.
Feeling his wife comb her fingers through his dark tresses and every once in awhile feeling movement from his son. He isn't entirely sure how long he laid there listening to wife's heartbeat and feeling the movement from his son.
But he does this.
He felt at peace.
