Tea is a Bright student and has never got a F on any thing. She Proved the teacher wrong what did he do?

Tea was on the bus ride home and frowned upon the F she had gotten on her statistic test. She had never got a F before and didn't know how her parents would react. She was a very smart girl yet didn't know what to do when it came to an F. The bus had stopped and she got off and decided to hide it. She went up to her room and looked at the F again before putting it under a loose floor board. She smiled and started on her french homework. A week went by after she hid the test and she was getting suspecious of her parents behavior. They weren't acting normally, it was as if they knew something. She came home from school one day and her mother and father met her at the door. She looked at them questioningly.
"Honey, how was your day. Have you got your test back yet?"
"Nope, apparently he has graded them yet." She lied. She tried to walk in and her father wouldn't let her in.
"Dad may I please go inside?" He shook his head.
"We know about your test and how you flunked it, now where is it?" He asked as Tea played dumb.
"I don't know what you mean, I haven't even got it back yet."
"If your going to play dumb do a better job at it, We got a call from the school today. Mr. Harold said that you were actually suppose to return it with a parent signature." Tea sighed and went inside,and up to her room. She came back down about three minutes later, paper in hand. She handed it to her mother and laughed nervously.
"Mr. Harold said that you are very smart and doesn't know how you could have flunk such an easy test. He says it's one of the easiest test of the year." Tea hung her head.
"Dad, I am very smart but, I got a F on it because I prove Mr. Harold wrong and I was right and he got back at me by giving me a F." She said as she sat on the front stoop. She sighed and looked up at her parents.
"Well you lied to us about it and you will be punished for that, no Dungoens and Dragons for you this weekend." Her mother said firmly.
"What no that's not fair. Your can't do that, this weekend is the tournament." Tea whined.
"To bad it stays, until we get it confirmed from Mr. Harold." Tea looked at her parents and smiled. She ran inside and grabbed a tape recorder and shoved it in her pocket. They looked at her in question.
"Let's go he is still at the school, and I can prove he said it." They looked at her, they all went up to the school and went straight to her statistics class and found Mr. Harold there grading papers.
"Mr. Harold we have a question for you, did you give Tea a F because she proved you wrong about something?" Tea started to record her tape.
"Why no of course not, Why would I do that, that is obsurd, that is just wrong." Tea's parents nodded and smiled at him.
"Well thank you for you time Mr. Harold." He nodded and smiled as they left the room. Tea looked at the teacher in shock, knowing he lied.
"You just lied to my parents."
"Yeah so what if I did give you a F for proving me wrong, there is nothing wrong with that. I actually thought it was kinda funny. You thought you could prove me wrong and get away with it yeah right." He stopped and Tea smiled.
"Okay whatever, I win." She pulled the tape record out and hit stop.
"You didn't." She nodded and left the room. She later showed it to her parents and that weekend she went to her D&D tournament and her team won.
