Ok dear ones. I couldn't let Christmas come and not write a Christmas story about Will and Lou. I will keep up writing about them until …. Forever. They are everything to me. Their love story is one of a kind and I choose to believe that they will be together forever. So, I hope you will enjoy and I wish Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to you all!
Since the day I decided not to go to Dignitas, I am the happiest man. It was the best choice I could ever make. Because I was wrong when I thought my life was over when I got stuck in this wheelchair. Because my life started from the moment I met Louisa Clark. My Clark.
Today it's Christmas morning. We got up from bed, had breakfast and now I am watching her talking on the phone with her mom. They are talking about tonight. We are having a Christmas gathering tonight. A Christmas dinner. Oh living with Clark is heaven.
And now I am looking at her, feeling so happy and excited. And as she hung up the phone she says:
"Okay, everything is settled for tonight. My parents are coming along with Treena, Thomas and Grandpa and …. Wait a minute …. Why are you staring at me like this?"
"Well I am just admiring my beautiful girl"
And here she comes close to me, sitting on my lap, pressing her lips on my lips gently and at the same time so passionately:
"Well, in that case , let me admire you too my handsome man"
"I love you Clark. Always"
"I love you too Will. Eternally"
And eternally was the magic word she said. And tonight's Christmas dinner has a lot to do with the word eternally.
As we are all now gathered into our annex for the dinner, with the Christmas tree in the middle of the annex, we are sitting in the large table we set especially for tonight and now that we had dinner, it's time to exchange presents. As all presents were opened , my parents, Georgina , Nathan, Treena, Thomas and Grandpa were all having a great time. They gave us our gifts and we gave them their gifts and now it was time for me and Clark.
"Well, open it Clark. It's not like I will open it myself. It's a little bit difficult"
When she opened it, I saw a music collection. One that contained all of my favorite songs, some of them hard to be found.
"Do you like it Will?"
"I love it Clark. Come here"
We kissed and now it was time for me to give her the present I had for her.
"Well mine is a little bit smaller than yours. Will you grab this box? The one with the bees on it?"
"Oh I love it already. Is it a necklace? Something like that?"
"Oh I don't know Clark. You'll just have to see yourself"
As she opened the box, tears came to her eyes.
"Will, this is a ring"
And as everyone understood, -well, Nathan knew …. He was the one that helped me wrapped it for Clark and the one who escorted me to the jewellery shop- they were overwhelmed. But not as overwhelmed as Clark and I were.
"Well yes it is. And I think you know what I am about to ask you"
She sat on my lap and told me:
"Well, then ask me"
"Will you marry me Clark?"
"Of course I will. I love you Traynor. You are my Christmas miracle"
"And you are my miracle. My life miracle. I love you miss Louisa Clark. My future wife"
"And I love you Will. This is the best, the biggest Christmas gift you could ever give me"
"You are my life gift Clark."
"You are my everything Will. My future husband. You are the only thing …"
And I continued …..
"That makes me want to get up in the morning"
And we kissed having all of our people around us, witnessing our engagement. Together eternally.
