Should Have Nipped It in the Bud

A/N: Dean puts a foot wrong. Crossover set roughly after both S7 SPN and S2 Teen Wolf.

Shaggy Wolf Story

Sam came running at the sound of a yelp, a howl and fierce thrashing in the bushes.

He arrived in time to see a bloodstained Dean stagger from the undergrowth, followed by the Alpha of the Beacon Hills' werewolf pack. Has our truce ended, before it even started?

"Derek? We trusted you," complained Sam.

"I'm fine," Dean said, waving away the concern. "Don't worry. It was just a little nip, nothing to worry about," he added as his eyes flashed gold, and his teeth lengthened.

Derek looking contrite, shrugged. "Sorry, but it was an accident. He trod on my tail."

A/N: Sam has body-image issues. Set during 7.06 Slash Fiction.

Self-Improvement

"I hate being this tall," Sam complained in misery.

"I'm sick of all the 'hello up there' jokes, low ceilings and banging my head going through doors. Plus my feet get cold from always sticking out over the edge of the bed."

Dean rolled his eyes and laughed. "See, your problem is you're such a stickler for detail. Don't be so exact. Do what I did - a quick nip and tuck and 'hey presto', no more bow legs."

Sam grinned with relief. "You're the best brother ever," he cried, running his forked tongue over his razor-sharp teeth in pleasure.

A/N: 24 hours in Dean's life. Set early S7.

Hipflask

When Dean woke it was freezing. A little nip of whiskey from his flask staved off the cold.

Being on stakeout wasn't much fun. A sneaky sip of liquor every now-and-then helped relieve the boredom.

Readying to face a wendigo, he took another gulp, Dutch courage.

Later, a couple of bigger mouthfuls kept the pain of the claw marks at bay.

He toasted a successful hunt by downing the rest.

Dean preferred using a flask; it stopped Sam from noticing the number of empties and acting like Dean had a drinking problem.

No, Dean had no problem drinking at all.
