One can't help but to bet everything in him.
He is constant…
He is always there…
Tenaciously, he shines on even when the clouds tried their best to make him disappear.
No one truly cares for him…
Everyone takes this shining ball of light for granted time and time again…
But he is needed… knowingly or not…
One day, when his light finally runs out, everything will go into chaos…
Moon…
…so mysterious
…so quiet
…so sinister
What can one do but to be fascinated to him… to pick him over the powerful and shining sun…
His mystifying aura pulls everyone towards him… including the sun…
But he is not satisfied…
He is envious…
Jealous of the strong light the sun emits…
He flees…
…towards the darkness of the night
…towards the sweet but sinful promises
…towards the shameful secrets of mankind
The sun chases him nonstop… to get him back…
But he runs away…
…too shamed to return in the sun's warming and comforting presence…
…too attached to the power of the night…
The sun stubbornly follows him…
It's a never-ending cycle…
Earth…
Like many before her, she, too, is attracted to the moon…
Worshiping him…
Following him…
She shuns the sun that always shines… for her… for everyone…
Turning her back to him…
Forgetting him…
How absolutely blinded she was…
When the moon absconded, she was devastated
All she had left was the forgotten sun…
The sun comforted her… stayed with her…
Yes… her eyes still followed the moon, but she will not ignore the sun…
No… never again…
She watches them… as the sun chases and as the moon runs…
It was then that she knew…
…knew that she had no chance with them
Their bond…
…ever so complicated
…ever so simple
…ever so strong
The moon can deny it and fight it all he likes, but deep down he knows…
…knows he can never get rid of the bond he had with the sun…
She knows… as a close outsider…
…her love for them pales in comparison with their love for each other…
All she can do is watch and hope…
Sky…
The barrier between the three of them…
Because of the sky…
…the earth can never claim the moon or the sun…
…the moon can never truly escape from his pursuer…
…the sun can never truly capture his obsession…
The bond between them…
Because of the sky…
…the earth can watch over her beloved as they play a game of unlimited hide-and-seek…
…the moon's darkened heart is comforted to know the he and the sun are never truly apart…
…the sun knows that he would one day see the moon again…
It's never-ending circle of betrayal, hurt and love…
But neither cared…
For, to them, they are in their own world… a world where only the sun, the moon, the earth and the sky exists…
Nothing apart from that acknowledged in their minds…
They are undeniably trapped…
Trapped but contented…
