The gun shot rings through the house deafen all of us. Emily doesn't hesitate in pulling her trigger once, twice, she empty my gun into him. Emily hears Hotch screaming her and JJ's names. She turns to see her on the ground Morgan holding a cloth, his shirt she presume since it's missing, against her chest. Emily stops and goes completely numb she doesn't know what to do. Reid grabs her and said JJ was asking for her. Emily kneels next to JJ and she grabs her hand, staring at the ceiling, a small line of blood runs down JJ's cheek.
"Don't you give up on me JJ." Emily yells at her, but as soon as the words come out JJ's eyes roll into the back of her head.
Emily rolls back on her feet and starts to cry as Hotch and Morgan start CPR. Emily doesn't know what to do but yell at JJ.
"JJ! You brought me to life, you showed me how to live I wont give up on you!"
"Emily, don't ever give up on me, I'm still right here."
Emily starts to bawl as the paramedics take over, words she doesn't understand get thrown around and they shock JJ to get her heartbeat.
"JJ, wake up please!" she screams.
"I just got you, I won't leave yet."
The paramedics stop work after a while and call it in the field, sending Emily over the edge. She moves up against the stretcher and beats on JJ's chest screaming at her.
"JJ you promised me you'd never leave me." Emily cried. Morgan moved behind her and tried to grab me arms when a single noise is heard from the heart machine. Everyone stops and looks at it… A second… and a third. The paramedics rush back over starting work again and quickly decide to move her to the hospital.
A few days later Emily waits besides JJ's bed. She still hasn't woken up, Garcia was suppose to take over for a shift but Emily refused to leave, ever. Then a movement caught both their eyes, Emily moved over to JJ and watched as her eyes fluttered open. Emily smiled.
"Welcome back."
