With You or With Him:
Another long and hard day was forced upon the redhead known as Kurama. Usually before this he would always have her he wasn't so sure anymore, as he recalled last weeks events:
Flashback
Ring, Ring, Ring
The redhead walked into the room to pick up his phone. "Hello?" he said. "Kurama?" he heard the voice of a young girl saying his name. Within seconds he had identified as his girlfriend.
"Botan!" he said in a cheerful voice. "Hi Kurama," she said softly, and he immediately picked up that something wasn't right. "What's the matter?" he asked unsure of what else to say; since he wasn't normally in these kinds of situations he didn't know how to handle them so well.
"I got a visit today..." Botan's soft voice said over the receiver yet again. "Oh," Kurama said though he still had no idea of what she was talking about. "A visit from Koenma," she hesitated a sense of worry running through her when she noticed that Kurama didn't reply, "Kurama?" she asked.
The redheaded man was very deep in thought. "Listen," the blue haired deity persisted, "This doesn't mean anything I just wanted to tell you-" she was cut of by the red haired man hanging up at the other end.
End Flashback
He hadn't seen the blue haired girl in a week and he began to wonder if hanging up before he let her explain was such a good idea, but then again she was the one that called him to tell him.
Didn't that normally mean a sign that she was going back to her former lover. Kurama cringed at the thought. Brushing them aside yet again he made himself dinner. Once again the next day he headed to work.
A knocking came from outside. "Come in," he simply called out still looking down at his work. The door closed behind the person that came in. Finally the man looked up to his surprise he saw Botan standing there with an emotionless look upon her.
"You haven't replied to any of my calls, texts, or emails at all." she simply stated. He looked down at his work yet again. "Is there anything else that you would like to say?" he asked cruelly. The girl let out a slight glare approaching him. When Kurama looked up yet again her face was inches away from his.
The red-head was slightly taken aback by the girl's actions. Their lips met in a spectacular moment, and for a few brief seconds he forgot about Koenma and all his problems and just wanted to apologize for everything that he had done.
Then it hit him again: Koenma, he suddenly pulled away. Leaving the girl in shock and confusion. "I said no to him you know." She began, "The day I called. I told him I was seeing someone else. The only reason I told you was because I didn't want to keep any secrets from you."
Kurama had enough of an explanation and realized what an idiot and jerk that he was being the entire time. He swept the girl into his arms and began to apologize for everything that he had done.
"I'm so sorry," he said, "I'm so sorry." The girl just nodded in recognition, "You are forgiven she whispered. "I love you Botan." He said softly. "I love you too Kurama." With that they shared a joyous kiss which would be recorded in time.
