Orange Juice
(Based off of another fic named Coffee, warning as it may get disturbing near the end)
Morning time in the Mouri Detective Agency. The sun was SHINING, the flowers SMELLED, and everything was GOOD.
Conan's alarm had just gone off, waking him up sleepily. He stretched, yawned, and put on his glasses. I sure can't wait to eat breakfast today.
He made his way to the kitchen where Ran was already preparing breakfast for a very hung over Kogoro.
"Oi Ran," he called out head face down on the table, "get me something to drink!"
Conan made his way to the table and sat down. "Good morning Ran-neechan, Kogoro-ojisan."
"Good morning Conan-kun!" Ran replied, "Oh otou-san, the only thing you can have is orange juice, everything else is gone."
The phrase 'orange juice' clicked in Conan's mind, it was something he craved. No. It was something he needed. He decided to stay put for now.
Mouri looked up with dissatisfaction. "The brat shows up and now I only get orange juice? Make a run to the store later will you, my head still hurts too much."
"Well that's what you get for drinking all night again!" Ran stated. She then brought over his orange juice, along with the rest of the meal, and placed it on the table.
Kogoro begrudgingly began to pick up the glass. Now's my chance!
Conan jumped up on top of the table with lightning speed, and vaulted over the plates. There was no concern for life or death in this kind of situation, only the holy drink. The sunset colored enlightenment in a glass. Orange Juice.
His jaw dislocated to prepare his taste buds for the hunt. He reached his target. Kogoro's throat. He clamped down with all of his strength and grabbed the glass out of his hands.
Ran was too busy looking in the fridge to notice the commotion occurring behind her. Kogoro couldn't scream as his throat was sort of ripped out, but he began to gag a bit and that was enough to catch Ran's attention.
She turned around. "CONAN-KUN WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?"
What she witnessed was Conan, standing victorious on top of the table, covered in blood. She then passed out from the shock.
He gulped down his prize. He had won.
