Chapter one: The chosen
Beep! Beep! Beep! "uggh" I groaned slamming off the red alarm clock that sits next to my bed. Sighing inwardly I begin to get ready for the long day that lies in sleepy slumber waiting for me. Here at Cross Gardens Girls Academy every day was as boring as the next. I yawn and drag myself out of bed and pull the curtains back. My room had a beautiful view of the courtyards and the gardens in the middle of the school grounds. Stretching I notice a strange man walking across the courtyard. For the way he looked he looked as though he were just a student here, but that couldn't be true because this was a girls school. I decided to forget about it and went to go take a shower. Just as I'm about to step into the refreshing water I hear a knock on my room door. Quickly throwing a towel around myself I run to the door and throw it open. Standing right in front of me is that stranger I had seen in the courtyard. But that's not possible…that barley just a few minutes ago…..how in the world did he manage to get here to the 3rd floor so quickly? I thought. He was looking at me funnily and this gave me the time I needed to fully examine him. He was at least three whole inches taller then me, had brown hair that lightly fell over his pale blue eyes. "ummm.." he shifted around uneasily still looking at me. "what is it?" I snap. It is only then that I realize that the only thing that I am wearing is a bathroom towel. I blush deeply and slam the door in his face. Quickly I grab my clothes and reopen the door. "umm..sorry about that..can I help you?' I asked him. "yeah im looking for a keladry smith?" he replied. That was me! Why was a guy like this looking for me?...should I lie and tell him that I don't know who he's talking about or should I play it cool and say yes that's me?
