Hi Fanfiction!
This is just an idea I came up with. Give it a chance, okay?

3rd Person POV
12:04, Camp Half-Blood.

The night was peaceful. The crickets were chirping, the campers were sleeping, and no Demigods were trying to-

"AAAAAHHHHH!" Leo sprinted into the forest, Percy on his tail. "WHY DID WE PRANK ANNABETH?"

"I don't know, it was YOUR idea!"

"Yeah, but you went along with it!"

Their argument was interrupted by an angry Annabeth coming into view. The boys screamed and ran faster.

"GO TO BUNKER NINE!"

"IT'S ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FOREST! WE'LL NEVER MAKE IT!"

"RAAAAAAAHHHH," She was catching up. "I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!"

Leo started to pray. "Hermes, you're the god of pranks and speed. A little help?"

A voice echoed in his mind. 'Sorry, but no can do. Even I know not to mess with Annabeth.'

"We're on our own!" He yelled to Percy.

"Yeah, I kinda figured that out when EVERYTHING WENT WRONG!"

"Well excuse me, I didn't think you would make it EXPLODE."

"It wasn't my fault!"

"Oh, sure."

"Wait…"

Leo gave Percy a look, like Seriously? "You realize that if we stop, Annabeth will kill us, right?"

Percy shook his head. "No, look!" He pointed to Leo's left. For some reason, he could see some strange white light.

"Right...what do you want me to do about that?"

"It looks important."

"So you want to follow the strange light. Great idea, Aquaman."

"I thought I told you not to call me that."

"You did. I just ignored you."

Percy facepalmed. But before he could make some sarcastic comment, they heard another noise. Annabeth was almost there.

"I'm following it," Percy said. "You either will or you won't."

And with that, he ran towards it.

"Oh, COME-ON! Have you never even seen a horror movie?" Leo paused, thinking. "Wait, can demigods even watch movies? I mean, we can't use technology, but if someone else turns it on, is that still dangerous, or-"

He was interrupted by the sight of Annabeth coming towards him with a scary look on her face.

"NOPE!" He yelped, and as fast as he possibly could, Leo followed Percy into the weird light.

So… hi!
Look, I know it's short, but this is just the prologue. I promise the next chapter will be longer.
