Author's Note: I rated this K+. The "f" bomb is dropped once.
Disclaimer: No, I don't own Glee or Kurt or Seb and that just really sucks.

Sebastian loved coffee.

Like he really, really loved coffee.

He would try a bunch of different cafes in New York until he found the perfect one.

And one day, he did.

Maybe it was the pale man with perfectly coiffed chestnut hair that frequented the shop, always frantically typing away on his laptop.

Sebastian would come to the cafe every day at the same time just to watch this man.

It's been a month.

Sebastian normally would have already taken this guy out, but he had given up his old ways a while ago.

So twenty-two days this man has been in the shop, just typing away. And all Sebastian wanted to do... was stare.

But today he decided to take a big leap.

He tossed his now cold coffee in a trash bin and walked over to the man that had been invading his every thought for a month.

"Hi, I'm Sebastian."

The thin man glanced up, obviously startled.

"Hello, Sebastian. I'm Kurt."

Kurt.

That was a really nice name.

"Well, Kurt," and oh, it just rolled off his tongue, "I've been... uh, watching you for a while now – "

Kurt's eyebrow raised.

"Okay, that sounds pretty creepy. Anyway, I just – do you wanna go out sometime?"

Kurt blinked.

"Wow... While I'm immensely flattered, I must decline. I have a fiance."

"Oh."

And boy, did Sebastian feel stupid. How had he not notice the engagement ring on Kurt's hand?

"Yeah..."

"Well, congratulations, and I hope you live a happy life with your future husband."

Sebastian gave him a sad smile, but he did mean what he said.

Kurt smiled back.

"Thanks, Sebastian."

-x-

"Well, are you?"

Kurt glanced up from his spot in front of the stove cooking while Sebastian sipped a glass of wine by the island.

"Am I what?" Kurt replied.

"Are you living a happy life with your husband?" Sebastian asked smoothly as he wrapped his arms around Kurt's middle, leaning his head down on Kurt's shoulder.

"Yeah... Yeah, I am," Kurt mumbled as he turned his head and kissed Sebastian's temple. "You know, I'm glad you came up to me that day. Pretty fucking life changing if I do say so myself."

"You have no idea," Sebastian whispered as he planted kisses up and down Kurt's neck.

Author's Note: A lot of unanswered questions. That was the point. :-) I originally planned for Seb to never end up with Kurt, but I COULDN'T BRING MYSELF TO DO IT. Maybe I'll write what happened after that first encounter. But I'd rather leave you guys thinking up your own scenarios. :-)
