It was a night like any other, jack was flying around the world exploring and visiting new places, adoring to make children smile. He was flying around when he spot an island he had never seen before, he landed and walked around the town, and as usual people couldn't see him and walked right through him. It always broke his heart knowing that no one could see him because nobody believed in "Jack Frost."

There was a bridge connecting the town to another small island, no one really lived there, it was just a forest, or so everyone thought. Jack as curious as always went flying to see if there were any kids in the forest to cheer up. Just then he heard someone singing. The voice was so beautiful, like an angel. Jack had never heard anyone sing with such beauty before... He flew around trying to find out who was singing. He then saw a tower from a far distance, as he got closer to the tower the voice got louder and he started seeing a girl with long blonde hair flowing in the wind while she looked out the window. The girl saw something in the sky, she got scared, and rushed inside. Jack was confused why she suddenly left so he went inside the tower to find out. When he was inside the tower it was dark and empty, but he could have sworn he saw a girl.

Just as he was leaving the tower the girl popped out of no where with a frying pan yelling "what do you want with my hair?!" Jack was startled and said "whoa, nothing I just heard someone singing and I wanted to listen.. wait, wait, wait, wait... how can you see me?" The girl was confused and responded, "why would I not?" Jack said "I'm Jack frost, a guardian, you are supposed to believe in me to be able to see me" the girl said she loved reading in her spare time and read about him before. Jack was enlightened to know that someone actually believed in him. It started to get quiet so Jack suddenly commented "that was some beautiful singing" the girl blushed, "thank you, and oh! By the way I'm Rapunzel" she exclaimed as she shook his hand. "And I'm Jack Frost" "i already knew that" she responded. "oh duh!" he said as he face-palmed himself.

Weeks passed and Jack was still at the tower with Rapunzel. Mother Gothel didn't believe in Jack, therefore she couldn't see him, but she would always hear Rapunzel talking to someone and when she walked in Rapunzel was alone in her room. Gothel would ask who she was talking to, and Rapunzel would always say "oh nothing mother, just an imaginary friend since I'm alone in this tower all day." Gothel would shrug and leave the room. Although jack had been with Rapunzel for a couple weeks all he knew was that she was prohibited to go outside the tower, he didn't bother asking because it was a fragile subject, he also didn't know about her hair...
