Harry didn't know what to think of the new exchange student. He was about his height and had hair just as dark as his, though styled in a way that rivaled Malfoy's. He had a lean stature and like Malfoy, his skin was pale, nearly white you could say. The teen wore gloves and black boots and when out of school on the weekends or the end of classes, he always wore a black suit and his famous white bow tie that he wore as a substitute for the schools uniform tie that was colored depending on the students house.
His name was Bendy Stein - Harry thought his name was nearly as odd as Malfoy -, and to be honest, Harry couldn't get a read off of him and normally couldn't keep up with how fast he would talk or when he would start babbling about something that only Luna Lovegood could understand…
The teen could be bouncy one second, then terrified the other. He also could be very angry and would lash out unexpectedly if someone would bug him or ask him questions that were personal. He was confusing and easily bipolar.
What unnerved Harry the most about the American transfer, was his grin. It was welcoming and nice at first, but as time went by, it slowly grew unnerving and more creepy if anything.
Harry would sometimes find Bendy talking to himself about things that made sense yet no sense at the same time. He would speak about a machine, or go on about ink, or sometimes he would talk about his best friend or brother (Harry couldn't quite tell) being ripped open and sewed up. Or about a angel who walked with demons that always spoke of doing anything to become perfect and beautiful once again. Harry didn't know which was worse.
Bendy often drew three cartoon characters. One was a wolf in overalls, another was an angel with horns (which made Harry laugh for it reminded him of a cow) and another toon that he couldn't decipher what it was. It lacked a neck and had a large grin, much like Bendys. Harry assumed it might have been a character based off of Bendy himself as something different, though the wizard couldn't really tell or was certain of his opinion.
Bendy often kept to himself or if he was with others, they would be small in number. Harry figures that Bendy wasn't fond of large groups as the pale teen would show he was clearly uncomfortable and almost appeared to be on edge and scared when in class or in large groups.
What made no sense at all to Harry though, was during the holidays at the Weasleys at Grimmauld Place, he had briefly seen Bendy amongst the order.
Just who the hell was this guy?
