So this is a late Valentin fic. I would've posted it on Valentines Day, but I was busy being lonely without a boyfriend. My Valentin ending up being my best friend whom I wrote this fic for. I made her cry since this story is so much like our own relationship.

An Unsaid Bond
"Let's promise to be together forever!"
"Yeah. We'll be together forever."
It's the people who swear that they'll stay together who always end up falling apart, and it's the people who don't have to say that they'll stay together that always do. What irony, huh.
It's the people who know how close they are that have a "connection" that'll never be broken, an unsaid bond.
Connection, as in doing or feeling things that you only feel with that one other person.
It's that care in which you are constantly wondering what they're doing or how they're doing. Are they happy? What about safe?
That joy that you feel when you're with them. The way your stomach turns when you see them. The way that they make you laugh in ways that others can't.
That protection that you put over them and them you. Where they offer to beat up anyone that harms you or offer to take you somewhere just so they can see you off safely. That protection where you feel that nothing can happen to you or them as long as you're together.
That motivation that you both give by saying things like "you look fine" or "you'll get it eventually." It goes along with the help given. And you take pride in knowing that they'll always listen and take your advice, never once doubting you.
Those nicknames that you give each other like "kitten" or "phoenix." Those nicknames that makes everyone else wonder...
It's the sharing and trust that you both do. Knowing that in your relationship they'll take care of you as much as you take care of them. Knowing that you can trust them to always tell you everything and to always be there for you.
The trust that you share makes it so that nothing has to be said to let you know that you'll always be together; you trust them to know and follow through.
Connection. The dictionary it's a "state of being connected as a casual or logical relation." However you know that being connected is so much more. It's the care, joy, protection, motivation, sharing, trust, and love that bonds two people, always keeping them together.
That's why to be together nothing has to be said if your connection is strong. Your unsaid bond will keep you together. That's why Kai and I will be together forever.
I really think that a strong connection will keep two people that love each other together forever...my god I sound like a sap. I think it's all the chocolate.
