Roommate by Fate

Kagome Higarashi moves to a university, but she has to share a room with Sesshomaru Taisho, her ex-boyfriend's brother. Over time their feelings grow as friends, but then they grow more. Is it fate? Or is it their desperation to find love in someone else?

Sesshomaru goes to a university with coed dorms. He is the only person without a roommate, room 3225. He only speaks to himself. He gets ready in his uniform.

(A/N: They are the same as the uniforms that Kagome wears in the show.)

He then locks his door to his dorm and leaves. Then he watches as Inuyasha runs by. Inuyasha skipped a couple of grades with the help of his private tutors. Sesshomaru sighs and walks into his first class, Science. Everyone around him starts talking. Then Kikyo came up to Sesshomaru, shoving out her chest and stops to face him.

"Did you hear we are getting a new student. Rumors say that she lived at a shrine so she might be religious and shit."

Sesshomaru also hates it when people bring rumors to his attention.

"Kikyo, just shut up."

"But why?"

Then the teacher came in the classroom. Mrs. Shinko.

"Alright. I see that it occured to everyones attention that we will be having a new student. Come into the classroom Kagome."

Kagome stepped in and Inuyasha looked at her, it turns out that they dated in highschool, but something happened between them.

"I'm Kagome, Kagome Higarashi."

"Shrine girl that is?" Kikyo asked.

"Yes I do come from a shrine."

"Okay, you may sit down next to Inuyasha and Sesshomaru and open your textbook to page 31 please."

Kagome nodded. She took her seat and payed attention. Sesshomaru stared at her and this caught Inuyasha's attention.

'I will get you back Kagome. Even if we did break up.' Inuyasha thought.

After class, Kagome was called to the office. She entered and Mr. Momaru, the counsler gave her a schedule and her dorm number and key. She left and then went to English. Sango and her boyfriend, Miroku walked in and talked to her. They became great friends.

Thrn she went to P.E., Health, History, Lunch, Vocal Class, Math and then Study Hall. After that she went to the office to get directions to her dorm. She got a map and she left. She went to the dorm number, 3225.

"This should be the one." She mumbled.

She inserted the key and turned it. Kagome pushed the door open and saw Sesshomaru.

"What are you doing here?" Sesshomaru asked.

"I am your new roommate." Kagome said.

"Didn't you used to date Inuyasha?"

Kagome nodded.

"What happened?"
