Summer might be over, but let's have some ice cream anyway.

Within the dim room a girl with half-pink half-brown hair continued to scribble down notes for whatever plans were going through her mind. So engulfed in her work, she paid no mind to the sound of footsteps coming her way. She knew exactly who it was.
"Neo, you do know you'll go blind if you keep working in this lighting," stated Roman as he turned up the lights.
Neo looked over her shoulder to give him an annoyed look before going back to her notes. She was trying to come up with ways to kill Team RWBY and Roman was being distracting.
"Don't give me that look, Neo. Even you need your eyesight if you want to continue killing."
The clenching of teeth was his only response from the little psycho as she was obviously trying to ignore him. Roman could only frown as he watched the girl work. Why must she be so difficult all the time?
The criminal let out a sigh of frustration. "If you must know, I came down here because Cinder has given us a mission. I suggest you get in gear or else."
Neo looked up at Roman with a blank look…before ultimately flipping him the bird.
"Damn it, Neo! Stop screwing around!" exclaimed Roman as he glared down at the midget.
He didn't go any farther as he soon felt something cold and sharp near his neck. Glancing down, he found that Neo had her umbrella blade pressed up against his neck and looking towards the girl herself, she had a slight sadistic grin on her face. There was no doubt that she wouldn't hesitate to hurt him.
"Just…just be ready in ten minutes."
With that, Roman left as quickly as he could, leaving Neo to cherish her little victory.

I have never watched RWBY and I've only read the first few chapters of the manga, so I don't know a whole lot about the series. The only things I really know (thanks to the fandom) is that Ruby is adorable, Yang is overrated, and Neo is a little psychopath.
I actually had an idea for a RWBY one-shot long before this ever since I found out that the manga was published in Ultra Jump, officially making it a Shonen Jump series. The one-shot would have also starred a few other Shonen Jump characters as to welcome the RWBY cast into the SJ family, so to speak.
