This one-shot came from a random conversation in which I misspoke and said "magic" rather than "jutsu". Emily laughed at me and said "Yes. Itachi is a wizard." Then as the next day, I was having a discussion with Julie and we discovered Uchiha Itachi's secret. Which you will discover if you read on. BTW, this one-shot is set up kinda odd but it's for dramatic effect. It helps if you picture all this occurring on a giant flat-screen television. Anyway, it occurs during the final battle between Itachi and Sasuke.

Wizard or Ninja?
"This jutsu is Kirin. Be gone with the thunder clap..."
*hits pause*
**Yes, this friendly narrator voice. For You who are just tuning in, Sasuke thinks that his new jutsu-Kirin- will be the one that kills his older brother.
But don't worry, you Uchiha Itachi fans: Itachi has a few tricks left. And some of them may surprise even you...**
*presses play*
Itachi reaches into his cloak and pulls out what appears to be a twig from a tree. He flicks it once. "Expeliarmus."
Sasuke is so shocked that his Kirin bolt goes far right, frying what appears to be an owl sitting on a piece of rubble. "What the heck was that?" His voice is a loud yell, almost a shriek. "What the f did you just do?"
**As we can all see, Uchiha Sasuke does not like things he doesn't understand.**
Sasuke looks at screen. "Shut up!"
**Fine.**
Itachi pushes the twig back into his cloak. "Sorry. Wrong show. Wrong kid."
"What the-"
"Hold that thought for one moment please. My phone is ringing." Itachi pulls a sleeks black cell phone from his cloak. "Yes, hello?"
From the phone comes a small voice. It is a male voice with a distinct British accent. "Is this the man who killed my parents? Because I may have to kill you if it is."
"And with whom am I speaking? Is this Sasuke or Harry?"
*Hits stop. Screen goes back.*
**And this, dear viewers, asks us one question: Are Uchiha Itachi and Valdemort one and the same...?**
