Hello there, minna-tachi, to the world of SAO 3.0, I'm your host and story teller, Black Eyed Samurai. The story I'm about to empart to you is a fan made fictional story set up in and around Sword Art Online, the only difference is that it takes place several years after the heart-felt and tearful passing of Yuuki Konno, A.K.A. Zekken of the Sleeping Knights Guild. It tells the tale of my original character, Edo Kirigaiya, a young Japanese teenager who was born with Azberger's Syndrome, which is a high functioning grade of Autism within the spectrum, and at the tender age of seven years of age, nearly became a victim of an insidious and malaligned individual's vices, only to hear the "Call of the Hero" and come out on top to rescue several other victims caught in this heinous excuse for a human being's thrall. Several years afterwards, he grows up to be the greatest beta tester for VRMMORPG's since his father, Kazuto, whose corporation, Kirito Mechatronics, is the country's largest supplier/producer/researcher of mechatronic technology for all applications. After volunteering to test out a new game from the game developer known as Virtual Seed Games, he and several other gamers/beta-testers/administrators end up trapped inside the game in a "Death Game" scenario with a time limit. The players have only a few short months to defeat a certain undefeatable foe, or risk becoming mindwarped and mentally controlled slaves in real life forever. Fortunately, Edo isn't exactly alone, as he has his A.I. Guide/big sister Yui, a crack team of VR counter-terrorists from the F.B.I. (of whom infiltrated undercover), and several friends both old and new, to help him navigate the hazards along the way. Unfortunately, the enemy also has allies of their own, so the hero has to remain vigilant and alet to make it out alive. As for this disclaimer letter, I know that it looks more like an overview for book #1 of three in my Future Hero's Sidestory trilogy, but here's the real deal just in case. The story presented to you currently is a non-profit work of fiction that borrows heavily from Sword Art Online 1&2, along with it's spin-off, Gun Gale Online. Along with two other stories being planned for future release as part of the trilogy, this story will also borrow certain elements from other intellectual properties such as Disney's Tron, Code Lyoko, Denkou Choujin Gridman, and it's Americanized adaptation, Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad, none of which I own the rights to, nor SAO 1&2 or GGO. As the author, I don't plan nor intend on profiting from this in any way. The franchises in question belong to their rightful and respectful companies/creators/title holders. Although this is made for pure fun, it does touch on some rather difficult and mature subjects, but only to give the stories in the trilogy more weight. Never the less, the main ideal of this trilogy is pure fun and humor, with a hint of science fiction/action-adventure thrown in the mix. Even so, it will have some rather pervasive language, humor, and situations throughout, reader's discretion is advised. That and a whole lot of "suspension of disbelief", as some of the feats performed by Edo Kirigaiya range from "makings of a modern day tall tale" to "absolute bullflop". so don't try them at home, kids.
