"Haruhi, I need some advice."

"Yes, Tamaki-Senpai? Is this about Kyoya?"

"YES! He's supposed to be my best friend and he acts like he hates me!"

"True love will show."

(AN: Does HARUHI ship TamaKyo?)

Tamaki pouted. "Fineeeeee."

He waited for a month

He waited for TWO months

And then Kirimi came to visit.

"HI FAKE ONII-CHAN!" Tamaki lifted the little girl up and swung her around as she giggled.

"I missed you! How are things with the creepy- I mean your big brother Nekozawa?"

"I don't really get to see him that much because I'm still kinda scared of the dark..." Kirimi looked downcast.

"..." Tamaki really found nothing to say, he didn't know what to say.

Kyoya, as if he was sensing Tamaki's dilemma, swooped in.

"Kirimi-chan, come with me." She was surprisingly compliant and they went to talk in the room that stored Hunny's cakes. Tamaki followed them, very curious about what he was going to tell the little girl.

Kyoya knelt until he was eye-level with Nekozawa's little sister.

"You know when I was scared of things, I always thought of the person that I loved, and that always got me to face my fears. I thought about everything that I love about that special person, and that really helps."

"Who is the special person?" Kirimi chan asked with large, questioning eyes that could beat Hunny's. "Your parents? Your sister?"

Kyoya shook his head ruefully.

"Your girlfriend?"

Tamaki clamped both his hands over his mouth to keep from screaming in outrage.

"No, I don't have one," was the reply and Tamaki calmed down.

"Then who?"

The boy took off his glasses and polished them subconsciously. "Well, your fake Onii-chan. He always encourages me, he's so kind, so friendly, so supportive, and that's what keeps me going, whenever I have to face the stress of being the perfect third son."

"Uwaat?" the little girl scratched her head at the hugeness of the phrase " stress of being the perfect third son".

"Never mind. You love your big brother, right?"

"YEAH!"

"Then, ignore the darkness, it might be scary, but keep thinking about the good things about your Onii-chan, and I promise that you will get through."

"OK!" She shouted with enthusiasm and Kyoya, like a perfect gentleman, escorted her out. On his way out, though, he said, "Tamaki, I know you're in there."

Kirimi stood outside of the Black Magic club. Kyoya pushed open the doors (Tamaki was dying by blush in the Third Music Room) and darkness emanated from the room.

She was scared, but she took a step. She couldn't see anything. She felt like she was suffocating, and she was close to screaming, but she remembered,

My brother is strong and caring.

She kept going, thoughts of her brother fueling her.

He always supports me, and I love him so much.

One more step, and she stumbled into the warmth of her brother's arms.

"Kirimi-chan, I am so proud of you!"

The little girl laughed in joy. It was all worth it.

Kyoya smiled slightly as he thought about his pep talk and the spying Tamaki. For his ultimate goal, it was worth it.
