A courier's last stand
"Boone and Ulysses, take Cass and Veronica and get out of her! I will hold them off for as long as I can!" I shouted
"Don't be stupid." Boone said grabbing his rifle. "I'm a dead man anyway."
just then I heard Ulysses appear next to me. "Cass, and Veronica are gone." He said grabbing his weapons.
I sighed as I took it all in. I knew there was no convincing them to go. We were surrounded, with no way out exept the access tunnels. There wasn't enough time to escape though. I went over to the radio, and switched on then the song began to play
How lucky can one guy be
Bang I heard as the door was blown open
I kissed her and she kissed me
Suddenly a grenade landed next to me. I grabbed it and threw it back just in time

A missile explodes near me as I take down three men
The room was completely black
I looked over to see Boone take down four men before taking bullets to the chest
I hugged her and she hugged back
I grabbed my mini-gun and fired

Then men began falling like flies as I felt a bullet strike my arm
My head keeps spinning
I go to sleep and keep grinning
If this is just the beginning,

As the last of my 5mm ammo runs out I grab 4 grenades, rip out the pins, and throw them
I've got sunshine enough to spread

I look to see Ulysses moving at incredible speed taking down 8 men in a flash, before he takes 2 bullets to the chest. It only seemed to spur him on as he went on giving out 5 times as much as he was taking until finally he fell.

I grabbed two assault riffles as the world began to slow to almost as stop. I fired taking down 5 more. As the world began to speed up I felt exhaustion take over as I took 3 more bullets

I grabbed my anti material rifle, and used all of my med-x and stimpacks in that moment

"DIE!" I shouted firing explosive rounds at them. I didn't even feel it as the bullets struck me. Finally it was over. I managed to take them all down. I looked down. What I saw was a bloody mess. "Gah!" I shouted as the pain began to surface. I slid next to the elevator door as things faded to black as I listened to my favorite song come to an end.
