"Hey there, gorgeous!" Kurt walked into Blaine's room, the fake smile he'd originally plastered on immediately morphing into a true one as he met Blaine's eyes. "I missed you at school today!"

"Did you brigg by hombework?" Blaine grinned back. "What did I biss?" He sat cross-legged on the hospital bed, covered only by the white sheet. Kurt dropped his bag and sat down next to Blaine, pulling him close, like his arms could protect him from the horrible world out there.

"No. You're sick. I don't care how ridiculously bored you get. You are going to sit here and watch crappy TV re-runs and NOT WORRY ABOUT SCHOOL. Do you understand me, Blaine?"

Blaine looked down sheepishly. "But I'b boooored!"

Kurt shook his head in despair. "What am I going to do with you?"

"Oh, I cad thick of several thigs you cad do with be, Kurd." Blaine flirted back, attempting a low growl that only ended up in a fit of coughing. Kurt clutched him tighter as his body shook.

"None of which I will even consider until you can say my name properly."

Blaine looked crestfallen. "But Kuuuuuurddd… I'b sick!"

"Exactly. I don't want your germs." But Kurt relented, the close proximity of their faces proving too much. Cupping Blaine's cheeks, he pulled him in for a kiss. Blaine's lips were chapped and dry, and he tasted ill, but it was magical nonetheless.
