When the zombie apocalypse finally arrived in Britain only a few months after Vokdemort's defeat, the wizards blamed the Muggles immediately, and the Muggles, after they found out about the wizarding world, blamed them, instead. So the way it ended was that everyone simply blamed each other and neither government took the responsibility.

People were being turned into zombies left and right, and then they were often killed by the self-declared "zombie hunters". All in all, people were dying at a rather swift pace. It was a really sad state of affairs for most involved.

Probably the only people who were actually happy with the situation were Cho Chang and Moaning Myrtle. You see, these two had fallen in love with each other over the last few years. However, like any sane parents would do, Cho's mother and father had forbidden what they called "the ridiculous relationship".

But Ron Weasley, or his zombie self, had bitten Cho quite early on in the epidemic, turning her into a zombie. And as a result, Cho and Myrtle finally found a way to be together, because no one would have the time or energy to stop a zombie and ghost from being together. How did it matter if one of them had rotting flesh and craved brains, while the other was over a eighty years old and not corporeal? It was true love that counted after all.

However, the universe seemed to have it out for them. It happened as these star crossed lovers were conversing amongst themselves in an abandoned hallway. Suddenly, they heard a loud noise and in barged Ginny Weasley, wand outstreched. Seeing Cho, she paused for a moment, but quickly regained her composure.

"I'm sorry Cho. But I have to do this," she said, looking apologetic, right before she cast a killing curse at the zombie. Cho fell to the ground with a groan, the only kind of speech she had lately been capable of. Myrtle glared at Ginny, but she paid the ghost no attention. After pausing to sadly look at the dead body of her former friend, she then went away.

Myrtle fell to her knees on the ground, a gesture that served no purpose, since she was floating anyway, and let out a pained cry. She couldn't believe they had had everything for those few days, and now it would all be gone again. She wept heartbrokenly in the empty hallway for a few minutes, before she felt a hand on her shoulder.

Turning around, she saw a sight that made her dead heart leap. Then, she smiled back at her ghost-zombie girlfriend. Maybe everything would be okay after all.

Notes: It's meant to be funny but I don't think I quite succeeded. Oh well.
